Quality recovery is a direct result of qualified and caring staff working together with our clients toward the common goal of sobriety and recovery. Lori Johnson is experienced in substance abuse treatment since 1990 and is the driving force behind the success of Amicus House.
Transitional Living or Sober Living:
A clean and sober environment to live in while practicing the tools of recovery. Attend 12-step meetings; attend work, school, or volunteer at a community agency; daily staff interaction; participate in 12-step sponsorship, house chores and Wrap Up meetings with staff and clients.
$700 monthly fee for a shared room
Work Release Program:
The Work Release Program at Amicus House is designed to provide an alternative to the closure of the County Work Furlough. We have designed a structure based on input from Santa Clara County Judges, Deputy District Attorneys, and Probation Officers. The Work Release Program clients are allowed to leave the facility for a maximum of 10 hours per day, 5 days per week for verifiable employment or education. We provide staff monitoring during the hours the clients are at the facility, unlike at a sober living environment. We also provide staffing to verify, more closely, their whereabouts when out of the facility.
